In 2006, Gwyn travelled to Hilltop, England, UK to study pebble mosaics with Maggy Howarth, author of The Complete Pebble Mosaic Handbook.  Gwyn currently teaches this specialized form of mosaic art at the Chicago Mosaic School, Chicago, Illinois.  She creates one of a kind art for the garden that includes benches, tables, pavers, and sculptural objects.
